We love your work, but our budget is tight. Will you volunteer or provide a discount?
If you have an exceptional circumstance, I'm open to hearing more about it. However, I typically do not provide photography coverage for free or deeply discounted rates when other vendors are being paid.
What is your cancelation policy?
One-time shoots and special projects may require a non-refundable deposit to hold the date depending on the time of year and scope of the project. Reserving Royalty Private Events require a non-refundable, non-transferable payment in full at the time of booking to secure the date. Established, recurring clients (AKA Partners) are granted flexibility, may cancel and reschedule anytime without penalty, and are never required to do a deposit.
How do we pay you?
Upon project completion, all commercial clients receive a detailed invoice from Stripe for easy, secure payment via credit card. If your organization does not allow credit card payments for vendors, alternate methods such as cash, check, or Venmo (@scheibcreative) are also accepted.
We have a sudden need for photos tomorrow. Can you help?
Yes! Not every event or photo op can be planned weeks in advance. Clients who use my services on a regular basis are welcome and encouraged to email or text me anytime with coverage requests. If I'm available, I'll be there!
Are there additional costs not mentioned in Our Quote?
There are no hidden or additional costs associated with my services. The quote you receive will be clear and all-inclusive, and you will never be asked to pay additional fees after the shoot. The only exception to this would be if the event is running behind schedule and time must be extended. Should this occur, I always check in with my on-site contact to approve the additional time.
You took a cute photo of me/my family-kids-parents-dog-friend at an event. Can you send me the picture?
I wish I could, but I can only share photos with the organization that hired me. This also applies to media requests: As a rule, I do not distribute photos that were commissioned by others, even to media. If you are in need of a photo to share in the media, please contact the organization directly.
