Spring and summer are the perfect time for mini sessions, but it's so hard to find a date that works for everyone!

Instead of squeezing in a block of time on a weekend when you already have a million other things going on, Mobile Minis work around your busy schedule! Just shoot me a message and let me know when you're available (preferably before 10am or after 6pm for best lighting). We'll arrange a day and place to meet. Take family photos in your own home or yard, your favorite park, or anywhere you want!


These personalized sessions are only $175 + tax for a 25 minute shoot in the location of your choice (within 10 miles of 27358).* You'll receive a proof gallery to select your 6 favorite shots. Edits are clean and film-like. Rate is per family unit. Availability is limited; bookings run May 1st through August 30th.


WHAT TO WEAR

Stick with neutrals. Avoid ultra brights and fluorescents, shirts with pictures or bold logos, and busy, cumbersome dresses whenever possible. Coordinated sibling outfits will result in a more consistent final product.

FAQ

What should we expect?

Expect a laid back, easy going experience. I prefer to shoot candids so kiddos don't become stressed out and overwhelmed by endless directions. We will stop periodically for group poses if they're up for it. Since we only have 25 minutes, please DO NOT BRING food, colored drinks, candy, or toys that children will struggle to part with. If you bring it to the shoot, assume it will end up in the picture.

How do we pay you?

Payment can be made via Venmo (@scheibcreative). Payment is due at time of booking to secure the date. Your rate of $175 + tax includes 6 high-res edited images. You're welcome to purchase additional files ala cart for $12 + tax each, but additional purchases are never expected or required.

How are minis different from a regular session?

Mini sessions are an abbreviated session at a discounted rate. A regular session usually lasts an hour and costs $350 + tax. With a mini session, you receive a proof gallery where you can select a pre-determined number of images, but with a regular session you get all of the best images from the session (chosen by me). If you opt for a mini session but like more than 6 images in your proof gallery, you can purchase additional images ala cart for $12 + tax each or convert to a regular session by paying the difference. When you convert to a regular session, you'll receive all of the best shots instead of the smaller amount in the minis package.

My child is having a rough day/not feeling well. Can we reschedule?

Yes, I'm happy to reschedule if a child is not feeling their best on the day of our shoot. Please make every effort to let me know several hours prior to our scheduled shoot time.

Can we include our dog?

Absolutely! I love to incorporate your furry family members into the shoot. However, if the shoot is in a public place where other dogs might be, I do discourage bringing high energy, easily distracted dogs that get overly excited at the sight of strangers. If your dog is well-behaved and calm around strangers, feel free to bring them along.

Can we use these for senior photos?

You can, but I would advise against it. Senior photos are a sweet milestone for a student and their parents. Senior photo shoots should not be rushed, even if you "only need a few" shots. Teens feel better about being photographed when they can share ideas, so I strongly encourage you to book a full session of at least one hour (preferably two hours) or find a photographer who specializes in a full service senior photo experience.

Our extended family (grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.) would like to be in the photos. How does this affect the rate?

Extended family and friends are absolutely welcome to be part of the shoot. The discounted rate applies to each family unit, meaning anyone outside of your immediate family would be required to pay their own fee. They will be able to select their own photos from the proof gallery and, in most cases, our shoot time will be extended. Shoot time will not exceed 60 minutes regardless of how many additional rates are paid.
